Questions worth asking before you buy

SPC, LVT or sheet vinyl. All three are fully waterproof, so a dropped pan of water or a leaking dishwasher will not swell the boards. SPC is the toughest of the three and the warmest underfoot once an acoustic underlay goes down.
Usually, yes, if the surface is sound, dry and level. Click laminate, SPC and LVT can float over old vinyl or tiles. Old carpet always comes up. We check all of this on the free measure and tell you honestly if the subfloor needs work first.
Around 10% on a simple rectangular room and 15% if the floor runs diagonally, into bays or through doorways. Our calculator on this page already adds the 10%, and we confirm the exact figure when we measure.
Laminate has a photographic layer over a fibreboard core. It is cheaper and very scratch-resistant, but the core does not like standing water. LVT is vinyl all the way through, so it is waterproof, quieter, warmer and thinner, which helps under doors.
Yes. Our own fitters handle every job from measure to final trim, so there is no subcontractor in the middle. The quote you sign is the price you pay.
Most single rooms are done in a day. A full house of carpet is usually two. Wood and herringbone take longer because the boards need to acclimatise in the room first, normally 48 hours.
